ADVERTISING & PLATFORM INTEGRITY

Advertising Policy

Rules for commercial promotion, sponsorship, competing-platform promotion, lead generation and responsible industry participation on TTM.plus.

Effective date: 19 August 2026

Scope and version

This Policy applies to profiles, company pages, listings, posts, comments, chat, private messages, events, training, uploaded media, links and any other activity used to promote a product, service, business or platform. It is version 2026-08-19 and forms part of the Terms of Use.

Ordinary industry participation is welcome

Traffic-management businesses, employers, trainers, suppliers, workers and industry organisations may participate genuinely in the features intended for them. Accurate company profiles, jobs, marketplace listings, courses and useful factual discussion are not prohibited merely because the member operates a business or uses another service.

Promotion requiring prior approval

  • Paid, sponsored, affiliate, referral or commission-based promotion.
  • Promotional campaigns placed outside the feature designed for that listing.
  • Bulk or repeated direct messages intended to generate leads.
  • Contests, giveaways, endorsements or influencer activity connected with payment or benefit.
  • Advertising for a service whose main purpose substantially duplicates or substitutes for TTM.plus platform functionality.

Approval must be obtained through Supportbefore publication. Approval may include placement, audience, duration, disclosure, safety and measurement conditions and may be withdrawn for a material breach.

Competing-platform promotion and solicitation

Members must not use TTM.plus primarily to recruit its members to a competing directory, community, marketplace, jobs board, messaging service or materially similar platform; divert transactions through deceptive links; or mass-solicit members for that purpose without prior written approval. Factual comparisons, ordinary professional references and good-faith discussion remain allowed when relevant, accurate and not a disguised campaign.

Prohibited advertising practices

  • False, misleading, unsafe, discriminatory or unlawfully targeted advertising.
  • Impersonation, fake scarcity, undisclosed sponsorship or fabricated endorsements.
  • Using scraped member data, automated accounts or purchased lists.
  • Collecting more personal information than a genuine transaction requires.
  • Malware, deceptive redirects, lookalike sign-in pages or credential requests.
  • Reposting removed promotion or creating another account to evade a decision.

Enforcement, notice and review

TTM.plus may label, limit, hide or remove promotion, restrict related features, suspend an account or end access where reasonably necessary to protect members, platform integrity or a legitimate commercial or legal interest. Decisions consider context, reach, intent, history, harm, proportionality and available evidence rather than relying on a company name or common email domain alone.

Where appropriate and lawful, the affected member will receive a neutral notice and a route to request review through Support. Detailed evidence may be withheld where disclosure would expose confidential information, security methods, another person or a legal obligation.
